Brazen US cocaine smugglers get light sentences

3 smugglers who hauled cocaine into metro Chicago aboard a private jet won't be serving the mandatory minimum 10 years.

The brazen smugglers got 3 years, 3.5 years and 5 years. Rodrigo Alexis Jimenez-Perez, an illegal immigrant, said he didn't know he was driving a vehicle with 80 kilos of cocaine inside.
